The RWZ control and power supply units are designed to reliably ensure the electrical supply to the TOPP RWA actuators installed in the building's windows. They are certified to EN 12101-10, the standard that specifically governs power supply equipment. Their purpose is to ensure the actuators receive power continuously and reliably in the event of a fire, even during a total mains blackout, thanks to the on-board back-up batteries. They constantly monitor line integrity, signalling wiring breaks or malfunctions. They receive signals from fire detection systems or manual emergency buttons to activate the actuators instantly. They can manage both emergency fire opening and daily natural ventilation for air change.
