INNOVATION AND DESIGN
For TOPP, innovation means turning ideas and concrete requirements into original solutions for door and window automation. Engineering experience, three-dimensional design and rapid prototyping make it possible to develop, verify and refine new products before industrialisation, shortening development times and progressively improving functionality, reliability and design.
Through the expertise and technologies of TOPP Rapid Prototyping, the company can produce technical, aesthetic and functional prototypes using a range of 3D printing and rapid manufacturing processes, including Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), selective laser sintering (SLS), stereolithography (SLA), Digital Light Processing (DLP), fused deposition modelling (FDM), silicone moulds and pilot moulds. Having these technologies available in-house makes it possible to assess shapes, dimensions, assemblies, materials and performance at every stage of development.
Ongoing research and the ability to develop original technical and design solutions have led TOPP to register more than 50 international patents. The inventions, designs and models developed by the company are protected through the main industrial property systems and bodies, including the European Patent Office (EPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), formerly OHIM.
