Frequently Asked Questions
What is the P45 and which safety standard does it comply with?
The P45 is an adaptation system for the commercial R40 profile with rounded corners that prevent drawing-in, hooking and shearing, in compliance with the EN16005 standard for the safety in use of power-operated pedestrian doors.
Which anti-panic configurations does the P45 allow?
It allows double-leaf configurations with full anti-panic, with single anti-panic or without anti-panic, as well as single anti-panic moving leaves flush with the wall or with a stop.
Why are the P45's rounded corners important for safety?
The rounded corners reduce the risks of drawing-in, hooking and shearing during use of the powered door, a central requirement of EN16005 for protecting users.
