In accordance with the requirements of the EN 60335-2-103, we have developed a version of the C20 chain actuator specific for the above situation with the following features:

 

• Stroke limited to 200 mm.
• Safety lock to avoid the stroke selection by unauthorized users.
• Controlled speed in accordance with the standard.

 

This version of the C20 chain actuator is available on request at the same price of the C20 with special stroke.

 

Up to now, window actuators were certified only under the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC that rules only the electrical features of the product.  With the introduction of automated windows to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, also the mechanical characteristics require to be certified in accordance with the EN 60335-2-103.
